Every organization comes across some events, which prove to be historical in its life span. Launching of the WebsiteWWW.LABOUR.DELHIGOVT.NIC.IN of the Labour Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi was indeed, such an event. The date of launching of this website was no less important as it happened to be birth anniversary of our great leader Late Sh. Rajiv Gandhi. It was the dream and vision of our beloved leader that the benefits of information and technology should percolate to the common people of the country. The launch of our Website is a step towards realization of this vision of Late shri Rajiv Gandhi as it will enable both the employees and the employers to interact with the department online and at the same time to have prompt access to a plethora of information pertaining to the department. I am sure the Website will serve the interests of workmen, the management of factories, shops, establishments as well as the trade unions and will thus facilitate harmonious industrial relations in the NCT of Delhi.
