The Electrical Inspectorate of Labour Department looks after the enforcement of Laws governing the safety under the following Acts/Regulations/Rules: -
- The Electricity Act, 2003,
- The Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to Safety and Electric Supply) Regulations, 2023,
- The Bombay Lifts Act, 1939 as extended to National Capital Territory of Delhi,
- The Delhi Lift Rules, 1942,
- The Regulations for Licensing and Controlling places of public amusement
(Other than Cinema) and performance for Public Amusement, 1980, - The Delhi Cinematograph Rules, 2008.
